My Rule for Life

I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

WHORES in Politics,

whore (hôr, hōr)
n.
  1. A prostitute.
  2. A person considered sexually promiscuous.
  3. A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain.*

I have specifically restrained from commenting on HB 1, what is being called the stimulus bill or porkulus bill. It has become so dominating of all the news on TV, radio, newspapers and what ever is left quite frankly I felt obligated NOT to blog about it here. The time has come to end my moratorium. Maybe not so much about what was a foregone conclusion but about those who helped to make it a foregone conclusion.

In war as in peace, and in the fertile ground of politics whores have plied their trade for whatever their motives, money, power, or their 15 minutes of fame. Remember Mati Hari? She was alleged to work both sides in World War I, French and German. You do not have to be a woman to be a whore.
Benedict Arnold? He had his 15 minutes of fame, right before he was hanged. Remember Judas Iscariot, he sold, the Son of God, for 40 pieces of silver.

All of these whores had no principles, no self respect, no pride, and no character. With these famous examples and many, many more, whores are still present today. Unfortunately, American citizens are subject to them in the very government elected. No greater example has been proven than this past week in what we call the United States Senate. Whores working the US Senate you say. These are not what most Americans think of as working girls or the Manhattan Madam. These whores are actual Senate members.

You see you don't have to sell your body to be a whore. You just have to sell your soul or your principles, if you had any to start with. Who are the whores in the United States Senate? Two of them can be found representing the Great State of Maine and the other representing Pennsylvania. They are Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Arlen Spectar. They sold their souls for politics and their 15 minutes of infamy. What they got in return from President Obama will never be known.** Nonetheless they sold their souls and sold out the citizens of Maine and Pennsylvania, that can't be denied.

For this they deserve what I hope will be every low committee assignment, every dirty job the Republican Party and Michael Steel can come up with. I would also hope that Mr. Steele does absolutely NOTHING, NOTHING to ad these RINO's (Republicans in Name Only) any money or assistance in their next elections should they have the nerve to try to run again. Then again, people without principles probably have no conscience.

For these 3 self centered, egotistical, arrogant minions to call themselves Republicans is a CONSERVATIVE OUTRAGE!

**Late breaking news as reported on the OReilly Factor on Fox this evening it appears the 40 pieces of silver for Arlen Spectar was a ticket to President Obama's Super Bowl party in the White House. It was reported by Laura Ingram Senator Spectar was the ONLY, that would be ONLY Republican Senator invited to the party. Hell if he would have gone with real Republicans Rush Limbaugh might have taken him to game in his sky box!

Specter of PA. will likely run as a Dem. in his re-election, I'd have to think.
The other two RINOs will be regarded as heroines in Maine.
Our gooses are cooked everywhere else.
That is assuming, that we are allowed to hold elections anymore-
THAT degree of tyranny can no longer be ruled out.

One cannot be a WHORE (political, sexual or whatever kind) if one had a conscience. When Alan Combs was still on with Sean Hannity, he always liked to talk about how liberals have moral values too. Well he was dead wrong, liberals have immoral values and the RINOS have their libs permanently attached to the liberal's butts.

Wake me when the revolution starts.

Here's an interesting article on the stimulus. Republican members of Congress (not the ones you're talking about) are determined to destroy Barack Obama, and if they have to destroy the United States of America in the process, they are fine with doing that:

Liz,

You do not address my comments regarding the fact these 3 RINOs lack principles and character. I find that interesting. You instead fall back on the Liberal defense of when you can't defend your position, attack something or someone else. I believe the following info from Wikipedia says it all. President Bush is back in Texas and the left continue to attack him. This is about President Obama keeping the promises of change and transparency he promised during his campaign. He if anyone is trying to take this county to a socialist society and people such as Mr. Krugman are readily supporting him.

Mal,

We CAN come back! We WILL come back! For our children, we MUST come back!

Good point about WHORES and Alan, I often wanted to pull and Elvis when he got his "air time".
Be sure I will wake you when the time comes.

Krugman is a self-described liberal. His choice of the book title "The Conscience of a Liberal" is a play on Barry Goldwater's "Conscience of a Conservative". Krugman has explained that he views the term "liberal" in the American context to mean "more or less what social democratic means in Europe".[36] He was an ardent critic of the George W. Bush administration...

We should be so lucky as to have a President who's going to institute socialism.

Have you ever been to Europe? They are mystified over there as to how the US, the richest country in the world, doesn't have a health care system. When I was sick in France, a doctor came to the apartment to treat me. At no cost.

We may end up nationalizing the banks in the eventuality of a lack of an alternative.

Capitalism has done a great job, don't you think? Our economy is in a tailspin, we have a huge gap between the rich and the poor, our people are uneducated, our overall health is poorer than that in many developed countries. Our roads and bridges are crumbling, our banks are failing. Our food is tainted and the world hates us. Our media are owned by a few corporations that just disseminate propaganda. The only things we have going for us are our Constitution, which the President of the past 8 years strenuosly tried to ignore and weaken, and our military.

Liz,

To quote Rhett Butler, "frankly my, I don't give a damn!" about what Europe thinks about us! I've been there also and find Europe a wonderful place to visit. But I am an American first and foremost. I will not be so foolish as to say like it or leave it, however if you wish to live in a socialistic country.......

It appears you base your argument on one experience on your illness in France. I think that is wonderful that a doctor came to see you. I am glad you are feeling better. Do you not think American doctors do not go to their patients. I know a doctor who doesn't even have an office. His entire practice is based on home visits to the elderly, those unable to go to a doctor,s office and poor. Just for the record he is a young man and not well off. My father's physician made visits to his home after his bypass surgery and a nurse came ever day. Just who do you think paid the doctor for your visit. He didn't work for free. Taxes my dear, taxes, from hard working people like you and me.

OPINION:

I think you have lived in New York, New York too long. You need to get out of there and see some real Americans. Get an overall prospective on just how GREAT the people in ALL of America are.

My dear Liz, There is a huge gap between the rich and poor in every county. Our bridges are not falling down at every turn in our poorly constructed roads, and why is it that Canadian women living on the US/Canada border come to the Untied States to birth their babies. Three words, lack of facilities!!!

The United States produces more crop per acre than any other county in the world. During President Bush's administration The United States sent more food and medical supplies to Africa than any other nation. During President Bush's administration the stock market grew better than any other time in US history. Little hint that causes your IRA, 401 K and retirements to go UP! Yes, it is down but that is the nature of the beast. It will rise again.

And finally, How many banks are failing? Got the answer, good, now how many banks are solvent?

Lemonade my dear, Make some lemonade out of those lemons, don't drink the Kool Aid.

Gotta run, Getting ready for this Redneck to set up for our Daytona 500 party.

Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES!!

and pollute the air. (:) smiling here!

It's nice to have a pension and to be old enough to qualify for Medicare.

"There is a huge gap between the rich and poor in every county."

That isn't true. (I think you meant "country").

What makes you think I've lived all my life in New York City? I'm continually amazed by the bizarre assumptions about "liberals" by conservatives. We supposedly never live(d) in the Midwest, don't know anyone in the military...what else do you believe about us? I really want to hear all the bizarre beliefs, which I am sure you've been given by Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, etc.

The following is my new signature that points out that these three people are just that "Whores in Politics".

Nice post... thanks for the linking on the blog roll.

Arlen Spector, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe are proven Rino's and not conservatives at all

Elizabeth,
Hi again. It's kind of funny how we keep ending up here isn't it? Anyway, you might want to be careful what you wish for. Before you heap praise on European style socialism, you might want to read a bit more of the downside, increased unemployment, poor medical quality, attitudes of European citizens toward their nanny states, etc. This is just a suggestion. After all, Socialism sounds like a great way to live - in theory. The reality hasn't been as promising.

Socialized medicine stinks. In every sense of the word. And yes, RINOS should just go across the aisle, we need true conservatives.
I can not believe how many intelligent, caring people are so willing to straddle this debt on our kids.
I find that cowardly and unethical.

Lutheran Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Destruction of the embryo in the mother's womb is a violation of the right to live which God has bestowed upon this nascent life. To raise the question whether we are here concerned already with a human being or not is merely to confuse the issue. The simple fact is that God certainly intended to create a human being and that this nascent human being has been deliberately deprived of his life. And that is nothing but murder.
