My Rule for Life

I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

i saw FEAR!

i received this email today from one of the nurse's that took care of ABNMOMMA during her illness. she is a wonderful person, caring friend and compasionite nurse. i responded to her email and felt it should serve as a post on this day at this time. You will learn why when you read my reply. For those of you who didn't know ABNMOMMA'S given name was Gretchen.

The moment you receive it, say:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen. GOD WANTED ME TO TELL YOU, It shall be well with you this
coming year.
No matter how much your enemies try this year, they will not succeed.

You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve all your goals
this year.

For the remainder of 2009, all your agonies will be
diverted and victory and prosperity will be incoming in
abundance. Today God has confirmed the end of your
sufferings, sorrows and pain
because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you. He
has taken away the hardships and given you JOY. He will
never let you down.

I knocked at heaven's door this morning, God asked me..
My child! What can I do for you? And I said,

'Father, please protect and bless the person reading
this message... '

My reply:
Nurse Teresa,

You don't know how bad I and someone else needed this today. When I got to church yesterday my Pastor, who is about 6-5 grabbed me and pulled me aside as soon as I walked in the door. I thought I was in trouble for something. We have always done the Saprano hug thing but not like this. Once away from the crowd he looked at me and told me they were taking his wife in for a biopsy this morning. Lump in the left breast. she is about Gretchen's age and has blond hair and same build. This is the couple that visited Gretchen more at home and in the hospital than anybody else. Linda and Gretchen hit it off as they both love candles and brag on their grandchildren. Husbands come in about 3rd or 4th of 6th.......

I got so made for about 5 seconds then for the first time in my life I actually saw "fear" in a man's face. I knew what he was going through and knew there was nothing I could do. Helplessness is something you have to conquer by yourself when you're with yourself, regardless of your occupation. His whole sermon, subconsciously I know was about his wife and how much he loves her.

If you get a chance throw up a prayer for Linda F. and her family. Hopefully it is benign.

They call me Pops

will pray, and you know who's in charge.

Just remind him. "Failure is not an option." right?

Will do.

Failure is not an option, correct.

Absolutely, Pops, we'll remember 'Linda F.' in our prayers tonight, and raise her to the Lord until we hear more from you.
May your friends be blessed, as we hope for you too.

Hi Mal. Good to hear from you. Hope this finds you and your lovely wife doing well.

Lutheran Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Destruction of the embryo in the mother's womb is a violation of the right to live which God has bestowed upon this nascent life. To raise the question whether we are here concerned already with a human being or not is merely to confuse the issue. The simple fact is that God certainly intended to create a human being and that this nascent human being has been deliberately deprived of his life. And that is nothing but murder.
