Governor Bobby Jindal and former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez are just flat wrong. Read why, clik here. They want to "just be friends" This is a CONSERVATIVE OUTRAGE! Unlike the new darling of the GOP Senator Marco Rubio. Read his thoughts here. Just one line from his Iowa speech says a lot.
"We need to do a better job of going out and convincing our fellow Americans who perhaps don't see things the way we do," Rubio said.
With all due respect to the two gentlemen, you are wrong. The thought of encompassing the masses of non-white voters, as you call them, is completely contrary to the values and patriotic American principles that made The United States exactly what it was only a few short years ago. Christian Conservative principles do not endorse any American who is in violation of the laws. Americans will stoop to help the smallest of children and the poor and the downtrodden but…..only to help them. Not, to make them a ward of a socialist nanny government. An ancient Chinese proverb, sometimes misquoted as a Bible verse says:
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.*
A return to the principles of true education on the history of The United States of America beginning at the very roots of our society is what is needed. This is an old fashion thought. However, the strength of America is with its youth. The strength of our youth is with Education. It is the youth that must carry on the burden of overwhelming debt brought about by the past 40 years of excess. It is the youth of America that must carry on the standards that “all men are created equal” in God’s eyes. It is the youth of America that must stand tall around the world for freedom and justice and democracy.
They can not, nay; they will not do this should they not have the tools of knowledge brought forth by the Founding Fathers of America. They must learn of the disease and death that was suffered before the first Thanksgiving Day. They must learn about the struggles of General Washington and the soldiers at Valley Forge. They must understand the how the ravages of the Civil War not only brought the Northern states against the Southern states. It brought brother against brother, father against son and wife against husband. It divided families but through the suffering it made America stronger and a better and greater nation. They must understand the struggles of the Marchers in Selma, Alabama and the price they paid for a greater freedom. They must learn there is pain before victory.
Governor Jindal and former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez are just flat wrong.
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” is not just a quote from a poem on the Statue of Liberty. This quote embodies the true American spirit. We will take you in, we will help you and you can become one in America, an American. The price you pay for joining this very exclusive association only the desire to work hard, make something of yourself, obey the laws and provide for you, your family and future generations so they may have the freedoms that all Americans have. The United States is a very exclusive association you see. By following the rules laid down by our Forefathers you are the member of the greatest nation on Earth. One of the 312 Million Americans vs the world population of 6.98 Billion makes you a very select member.
While Governor Jindal’s idea on the surface might sound good it will only exacerbate the problem for the Republican Party. Mr. Carlos Gutierrez’s idea of a super-pac although admirable is just that, another super-pac. The idea of expanding the lawless, and those that wish to have the freedoms of American citizenship but not put for the effort is plain wrong. To obtain freedom is by following a few simple rules paid for by the blood of the Pilgrims, the soldiers at Valley Forge, or the Marchers in Selma Alabama.
Sorry gentlemen, you’re just plain wrong,

My Rule for Life
I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

Lutheran Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Destruction of the embryo in the mother's womb is a violation of the right to live which God has bestowed upon this nascent life. To raise the question whether we are here concerned already with a human being or not is merely to confuse the issue. The simple fact is that God certainly intended to create a human being and that this nascent human being has been deliberately deprived of his life. And that is nothing but murder.
