IN GOD WE TRUST!!!

I got this email from a friend today. It hit me like a bolt of lightning. First I can't believe a US Post Office would be made to take down posters saying "In
God We Trust" but, I couldn't believe a Courthouse would be told to remove the 10 Commandments either. Anyway it sounds like a good idea to me and who knows maybe the idea will grow and become a "pandemic". What a bunch of horse manure! Anyway (#2) I am making bright colored return envelope lables on my printer tonight with the top line saying "In God We Trust" Let's take back America! One envelope at a time!

Payback is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! WRITE IT ON THE BACK OF YOUR ENVELOPES or front.
WE THINK THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. WE'LL START WRITING IT ON THE FRONT OF OUR ENVELOPES, TOO! ----------Including Bills
You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas h ave been forced to take down small posters that
say 'IN GOD WE TRUST ,' The law,they say, is being violated.
Anyway, we heard proposed on a radio station show, that we should all write
' IN GOD WE TRUST' on the back of all our mail.
After all, that's our National Motto, and ----- all the money we use to buy stamps. We think it's a wonderful idea.
We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything
that offends them should be removed.
If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT. The idea of writing or stamping......... 'IN GOD WE TRUST ' on our envelopes sounds good to us .
SOME PEOPLE ARE HAVING A STAMP MADE TOO........ lets use it as our signature on e-mails, too!
It's been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, we have a very hard time understanding why there's such a mess about having
'In God We Trust!' on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance.
Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to 'sit down and shut up'?
If you agree, pass this on, if not, delete!!!
BUT REMEMBER IF YOU DELETE THIS, that's one
reason why this world is in the mess we're in now. WE SIT BACK & LET IT HAPPEN!! IN GOD WE TRUST

California College Strikes Again

Is there any chance the state of California might just slide off into the Pacific? This would spare the rest of The United States of America these continuing embarrassments? First you have the 9th Circus Court of Appeals. According to the Los Angeles Times, The 9th Circus also has a long-running streak as the most overturned, which went unbroken this year. The Supreme Court reviewed 22 cases from the 9th Circus last term, and it reversed or vacated 19 times. By comparison, the Supreme Court reviewed only five cases, vacating or reversing four, from the next-busiest court of appeals, the 5th Circuit based in New Orleans.

Only a short month ago I posted about a Los Angles Community College professor who threatened one of his students for using Bible verses in a Debate Class. To refresh your memory this Professor gave the class the rest of the class time off after the student presentation. He then later confronted the student away from the classroom and threatened to have the student expelled.

Now today World Net Daily and Fox news are running this article, Clik here. The story is about one student who was praying on campus, for an ill professor. Her friend who wasn't with her at the time of her praying is being threatened because she was with her later in the day. This wonderful college is College of Alameda in Alameda, near Oakland. Remember this when you help your child pick a college to attend. They can't pray for ill teachers and probably can't pray for anyone or anything.

First let me thank all of you who responded to my post of the passing of my wonderful wife. I thank you for your prayers and comments. I wish I could personally thank each and everyone of you all in person. She was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed by me, her children, her grandchildren and patients. Bless you all.

Preaching to the Choir.

Preaching to the Choir or Ain't Google Search Wonderful.

It recently occurred to me that I (we Conservatives) have, as my wise father once told me, been preaching to the choir. I know many of us get on our blogs and write great interesting posts and our other Conservative bloggers read them. Then tell us how great the post was and how Liberals need to stop and see the destruction they are causing this great country we live in. But, we are preaching to the choir! We all ready know how much damage they are doing and how great this country is!! IMHO (in my humble opinion for those of you in Loma Linda) Rush joke, we need to preach to the left and liberal. The choir is all ready in the church!

Google Search is wonderful and even a dummy like me can use it. As you will see, I did! Some of the results listed blogs like The Daily Dose (Kos). I won't explain why I call it that. Ariana Huff and Puff and other sites of people who wouldn't believe it was raining outside if they came into the house wet. In that case we would be preaching to the brain dead! I choose a site that listed both Liberal and Progressive blogs. My reasons were two fold. First, we are all bloggers. As I have seen in these past weeks we are a family. Maybe an electronic family but a family none the less. Since I began blogging about two years ago I have had maybe three comments or replies that were mean and cruel. By picking liberal and progressive blogs we have something in common. Second, Progressive people are not die hard liberals......they are...ah...ah... progressive. Not Conservative but, not liberal. Progressives are looking for change, therefore susceptible or open to a different idea. That makes them fertile ground for sprouting new fruit if nurtured right. Maybe just be a Conservative.

Now this is not an absolute so don't comment back it ain't gonna happen. Some seeds fall on the rocks and are blown away. Some fall on fertile ground and grow. We must sew our seeds where ever we can and help them to grow the best we can. I did the ol' copy and paste of my search. The list is below. I am suggesting each and every one of us contact at least two of these sites on a weekly basis and try to grow some support for the Conservative cause. You all know President Obama has given us many, many broken promises and comments such as "America has at times been arrogant". By leaving intelligent and reasonable comments on these blogs maybe, just maybe we can do some good in 2012! I leave you with this thought. Some sat on there hands last election and we are in a pickle. Are we going to sit on our hands now? Or, are YOU going to..............

The End of a Chapter

ABNPOPPA and ABNMOMMA'S Great Adventure began on April 22, 1977. From a very strong discussion about woman's lib in college to the red color she wanted to paint the living room. Always, always a great adventure. At the young age of 21 she took up the challenge of raising a six year son which she was not the birth mother. She blessed me with a daughter and second son, Jacob, the warrior paratrooper.

We honeymooned in a two man pup tent because we couldn't afford a motel and it rained four of the 5 days. Soaked sleeping bags, soaked clothes but never a complaint. Always a smile and it will be better the next time.

She nursed not only the children she raised but in her 32 years as a Registered Nurse gave only the best care she could give to thousands of patients both in the hospital and later as a nurse who went to the patients homes because they couldn't travel to the doctor's office or pay to stay in a nursing home. I had the honor of driving her thru snow and ice to visit patients when the Sheriff''s department said any one on the roads would be arrested because they were so bad. Her patients needed her service and she was going to see they got it. During one winter blizzard the local police department sent out a four wheel drive vehicle to see she got to where she had to go.

She nursed her patients and nursed her family spending hours and hours with her mother when she developed pancreatic cancer. She nursed ABNPOPPA when he had emergency surgery on Christmas eve and she nursed more neighborhood kids than you could count.

She was a nurse's nurse.

She was a mom, grandma and wife to me for the best years of my life. On Tuesday morning she left the world we lived in together for nearly 32 years after a heroic battle against lung cancer. She was 53 years old.

This is not the end to our Great Adventure, only the ending of a chapter in the book. She has gone on to map out our next chapter as she always did finding places to stay, usually with a beach and usually with some historic sites. I will only have to say as I always did, where are we going and when do we leave.

Let not your heart be troubled, she has gone on to prepare the way, the same as our Savior.

ABNMOMMA, I love you Tiger! Thanks for giving me the best years of my life.

A Questiion Unanswered

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14

This is what greeted me as I opened up the Sunday morning bulletin at Greencastle Bible Church yesterday. Those of you who follow my blog regularly know I have said before this blog was very close to being called Conservative Christian Outrage. My first blog, Mark 1:11 was started because of my son, Jacob’s decision to enlist in the ARMY during a time of war. My reason to develop and post at Conservative Outrage was because I felt our country and our military was being short changed by many in Congress, the media and what has been come to be know as the far left.

You also know my tendency to be critical of President Obama, his appointments and policies. I specifically did not post some times because I didn’t want this blog to become a political blog. I try to keep it towards the Conservative side on a variety of topics. What has that got to do with Hebrews 12:14 and my attendance at services yesterday, let me tell you.

I take my Conservatism and my Christianity seriously. As is sometimes the case, and is now, they are on a collision course. President Obama reached out he other day to Iran. He basically got slapped down by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Hebrews 12:14 says reach out to all people. He did. This is not the first time he has reached out to the Iranian people. My personal belief is like that of Ariel Sharon. To paraphrase, If a man looks you in the face and says he wants to kill you, you better believe him. Iran has totally denied that holocaust. They call America the Great Satan. Their leaders have many times stated Israel should be wiped off the map.

Last time I checked Christians and Jews both believed in the same God. I am sure there are people who will dispute that however, for the sake of discussion let’s presume Christian and Jews are in the same boat.

Where does that leave me? I believe we should follow the teachings of the Bible. I also believe that given the opportunity Iran will develop the Atomic bomb and use it in the name of their religion. Is not President Obama doing what Hebrews 12:14 says to do? I certainly don’t agree with him on much but……

I’ll post, you decide.
