Here's a bit of a trend I s...Good one, Pops. <br /><br />Here's a bit of a trend I spotted the other day at Walmart. Yes, I occasionally go to WallyWorld because it's <i>very</i> close to where I live. My other choice is to drive over to Coeur d' Alene. It's not a great distance by any standard, but it does eat up time.<br /><br />Anyhoo - I was looking at the Christmas cards and, lo and behold, the majority were religiously themed. Huh? In the past finding a religiously based card was next to impossible. Say what you will, but WallyWorld knows which way the wind is blowing. I saw this as a good sign.<br /><br />As children we always received once "big" gift and lots of cute small stocking stuffer type things. I'm astonished at the cost of things that kids want today. $400.00 phones and such?? Nuts!<br /><br /> As soon as we were old enough, midnight Mass was the big deal.
